Please consider supporting the Iowa autism community with a generous donation to the Autism Society of Iowa.

The Autism Society of Iowa is an affiliate of the Autism Society. The Iowa chapter was founded in 1978 and currently has over 300 members. We are a statewide non-profit advocacy organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders.

 

A gift of:

$5 = Pays for a child with Autism to attend a sensory-friendly movie or for an advocate to receive a T-shirt at our annual Autism Advocacy and Acceptance Day at the Iowa State Capitol.

$25 = Provides a scholarship for a person with Autism to attend the ASI Autism and Employment Conference.

$50 = Provides a scholarship for someone with Autism or a family member in need to attend our fall conference.

$150 = Pays for a Splash for Autism Pool Party at an Aquatic Center in Des Moines allowing children/adults with Autism and their families or caregivers an opportunity to enjoy the pool without the noises, crowds, and without judgement.

$500 = Provides a college scholarship for a student with Autism so he/she can attend a post-graduate program after high school.

100% of your donation stays in Iowa and 87 cents of every dollar you donate goes directly to programming for families, teachers, educators, law enforcement and those on the autism spectrum.
