20th Annual Autism Conference – Minneapolis, MN

We are please to share with you that our sister affiliate – Autism Society of Minnesota is hosting their 20th Annual Educational Conference.  Many Iowans live within 4-6 hours of the venue.  The price varies based upon how many days you are planning to attend.

  • James Coplan, MD – “Something Old, Something New – The Latest in Autism Research”
  • Patrick Schwarz, PhD – “From Possibility to Success: Achieving Successful Outcomes”
  • John Miller – “Decoding Dating: A Practical Guide and Relationships for Males with High-Functioning Autism and Aspergers”
  • Kari Dunn Buron, MS – “Ain’t Just Misbehavin’: The Emerging Debate for Educators About the Neuroscience of Challenging Behavior”

There are tracks focused toward parents, educators, mental health practitioners, and the focus on Saturday (5/2) is transition and employment.
